Climate Variability Effects on Uruguayan Whitemouth Croaker and Striped Weakfish Fisheries

Analysis of climatic drivers effects on Micropogonias furnieri and Cynoscion guatucupa fisheries of Uruguay. Climatic and fisheries variables from the period 1982-2018 were analysed. Statistical analysis such as Wavelets Analysis and General Additive Models were performed. Results show that captures of the two species are being affected by climatic variability.
