This study involved developing recombinant hen’s egg yolk allergens for diagnosis and treatment of egg allergy. Recombinant egg yolk allergens were produced using microbiological host systems for potential use in diagnosis. A recombinant egg yolk hypoallergen allergen was produced with enhanced therapeutic capacity for treatment of egg allergy.
