Cognitive Bases of Posttraumatic Stress and Growth in Military Personnel

This research was conducted to elucidate the cognitive bases of posttraumatic stress and posttraumatic growth following exposure to military stressors. The results add to the efforts at developing integrative models of posttraumatic responses that does not presume that stress and growth are either mutually exclusive or unrelated, but indeed that they can co-occur.<p></p>
