Components of the Emotional Cascade Model in Treatment-Seeking Young People

This thesis investigated the roles of distress, rumination and negative urgency across dysregulated, and often co-occurring behaviours experienced by young people seeking treatment for mental health and substance use difficulties. The findings demonstrated that negative urgency should be a core focus of intervention for dysregulated behaviours.
