Conservation of an apex predator in urban environments

This study investigated the spatial ecology of an elusive, nocturnal apex predator, the powerful owl (Ninox strenua). GPS transmitters were attached to owls around Greater Melbourne, Australia to discover important habitat allowing owls to roost, move and survive in urban environments.
