Corporate sustainability : greenwash or a path to sustainable capitalism?

The meanings of corporate sustainability are explored through 42 interviews with corporate and community sector representatives. The findings indicate that the underlying logic is to shift the sustainability agenda toward corporate interests. While radical steps are required for sustainability, the self-regulatory and market-based model offers very limited opportunities for change.
