Creative redemption : uncertainty in poetic creativity

Original poetry and an exegesis describe, here, poetic creativity. To write a poem, it is argued, is to effect a tenuous resolution amid uncertainties that are incessantly available. The task of the creator is to find, amid conventions that are never indubitable, a source of persuasion, revealing expression that may itself fall to further creativity.
