Critical Thinking and Iranian International Students Academic Writing in Australia

This study explores the concept of critical thinking from a socio-cultural perspective by applying Bourdieu's Theory of Practice. The findings portray critical thinking as a form of symbolic capital and symbolic violence, while identifying different forms of students' habitus which can influence their critical thinking abilities in the context of Australian higher education.
