This study explores complex symbiotic relationships between arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and their associated endobacteria. Utilising genomic, transcriptomic, and metatranscriptomic methods, it reveals that these endobacteria might contribute to nutrient acquisition, stress tolerance, and molecular exchange in these fungi. The research highlights dynamic interactions and functional roles of endobacteria in these symbiotic systems.
