This thesis contributes towards detecting, controlling, and further preventing the occurrence of data congestion in high-density Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks. The findings pointed that by using the proposed approaches there will be an enhancement in the performance of Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks scenarios and it will increase the safety of on-road vehicles.
