This thesis explores a novel authentication framework for IoT devices in 5G networks, focusing on physical authentication techniques. It leverages RF features of IoT nodes, using Mahalanobis Distance and Chi-squared Distributions to identify legitimate devices. This approach outperforms existing solutions in detection accuracy, resource efficiency, and reduced delay.
