Developing pre-service teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge through lesson study

This study found that the lesson study cycles of planning, research lessons, and post-lesson discussions enabled the pre-service teachers to develop their Pedagogical Content Knowledge. This is shown by the pre-service teacher’s better understanding of the mathematics and the way of teaching it.
