Development of CD81 aptamers for exosome-based theramostics

This study identified the aptamer specific for CD81 biomarker and developed a novel aptamer-mediated and magnetic bead-based exosome capture system. This system possesses high sensitivity in detecting circulating exosomes of carcinoma origin. The findings will have high impact on both biomedical research and clinical application development.
