Development of Ionic Quasi-Block Copolymers for Battery Electrolytes

This thesis details the synthesis and characterization a range of quasi-block copolymers based on polystyrene mechanical block and a poly-imidazolium acrylate ion conducting block. These polymers have been manufactured into solid-state electrolyte material using lithium salts and ionic liquids for rechargeable alkali metal batteries and tested accordingly.<p></p>
