Development of a model to explain the sexual beliefs, intentions and behaviours of adolescents and young adults

This study examined the applicability of an adaptation of the Theory of Planned Behaviour to the sexual decision making of adolescents and young adults. It found that this theory could be used to understand the sexual decision making process. This has implications in designing and planning effective sex education and sexual health initiatives for youth.
