Development of quasi-solid state electrolytes for thermal energy harvesting

This research investigated the development of a range of new solid state electrolytes for harvesting waste heat. A range of redox couples and polymers were used to make gels and free-standing films for use in thermoelectrochemical cells, which directly convert waste heat to electricity.
