This research developed, implemented, and explored the feasibility, effectiveness, and acceptability of EatSmart, a 12-week, evidence-based, theoretically grounded, fully automated digitally-delivered healthy eating behaviour change support program. EatSmart sought to help disadvantaged people living with type 2 diabetes to eat healthily on a budget in order to better self-manage their condition.
