Disruption of cytokine signalling in leukemia

Mutation of specific genes within the so-called ‘cytokine signalling pathway’ have been identified in blood cancers, including leukemia. This thesis modelled two of these leukemia-related mutations in zebrafish, providing new understanding of their biological effects and creating platforms for future testing of therapeutic agents to combat this lethal disease.
