Ecology of Beak and Feather Disease Virus in wild psittacines

Beak and feather disease virus (BFDV) is a global threat to parrots. However, few studies have investigated the ecology of BFDV in wild populations. My PhD contributes significantly to wildlife disease research by investigating key aspects of BFDV infection in wild parrots, and can improve a range of conservation outcomes.
