Effect of different light regimes on the growth and metabolite productivity in microalgae

This thesis explored the impact of light as a key input in the form of either flashing or different wavelengths of light on the growth rates and metabolite profiles of three species of microalgae and describes the changes observed. Microalgae are a growing source of bioactive compounds and renewable energy.
