Effects of ether-functionalised ammonium cations on dynamics and interactions in sodium electrolytes

This work contributed to our understanding of sodium-based polymer and ionic liquid electrolytes for large-scale grid-based batteries. These electrolytes could provide both safer and more cost-effective energy storage and harness intermittent renewable energy to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, and mitigate the effects of climate change.
