Electrochemical Recovery of Rare Earths Using Ionic Liquids

This thesis investigated the use of ionic liquids as electrolytes for Nd deposition at moderated temperatures, without the need for dried electrolytes nor strictly controlled atmosphere. The results demonstrated it is possible to electrodeposit neodymium from various phosphonium-based ionic liquids and highlighted the role of speciation in this process.<p></p>
