Enhancing the Adhesion of Silk Fibroin to Metallic Surfaces for Biomedical Applications

This research investigated the potential for silk fibroin to be adhered to the surface of metallic surfaces for biomedical applications. Two methods were investigated, the first being the modification of the silk protein and the second being the modification of the metallic surface to support adhesion for these applications.<p></p>
