This thesis consists of three chapters which empirically show that macro-shocks during early adulthood positively predict future entrepreneurship, the national COVID-19 lockdown had a negative effect on the Australian labour market while the economy recovered to a certain degree after the lockdown, and that minimum wage increases improve overall health and subjective well-being.
