This thesis represented a set of interlinked studies providing an in-depth examination of the economic credentials of sedentary behaviour interventions for population reduction in sitting time. The collective findings of the thesis papers demonstrated that sedentary behaviour interventions might improve population health by reducing daily sitting time.
