Establishing the role of striated muscle activator of rho signalling

Investigated the role of a protein named STARS and found that it may be used as a treatment for the skeletal muscle disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, as it improved muscle strength. The results also showed that STARS may have different effects in the muscles of males and females.
