Establishment and Development of Backscatter Communications: The Battery-Free Era

This study investigated the establishment and development of backscatter communications in the future Internet of Things applications. It presents an in-depth analysis of emerging technologies. In addition, extensive simulation results given in this research show the superior performance of proposed developments compared to the existing low power wireless connectivity technologies.
