Evaluation of the key ingredients of an app-based depression intervention

This thesis evaluated two app-based interventions for depression and explored whether key features are related to improvements. The findings suggest that a smartphone application can be used to provide brief, easy-to-use content that produces immediate improvements in mood, and that enhancing functionality produces more lasting improvements in depressive symptoms.
