Expanding on current methods employed for investigating pet food stability

The Australian petfood sector continues to grow due to the 'humanisation' of pets. Ingredients added to petfood have the potential to degrade to harmful products making detection important. In this research various analytical methods were adapted to improve detection of products found in petfood including lipids, antioxidants and biogenic amines.
