Exploring the consequences of ICT realisation in a secondary school

This study analysed teaching and non-teaching staff, and parent narratives to explore the consequences of ICT realisation in secondary schools. The study revealed prolific, complex and systemic consequences with systemic impacts on: organisational, health and safety, educational, home life and parenting, economic, e-waste, ethical and legal aspects of schooling. The findings pointed to the urgent need for an ‘Educational ICT governance’ research agenda.
