Familial involvement in the treatment of adolescent depression

The objective of this thesis was to explore the value of involving families in the treatment of adolescent depression. A randomised controlled trial investigating the effectiveness of a newly developed systemic, family-based intervention showed significant improvements in parental mental health and aspects of family functioning related to parenting style.
