Family food environments as determinants of children's eating : implications for obesity prevention

This thesis shows that the family food environment is complex, impacting on children's obesity promoting food habits in a variety of ways. Some aspects of this environment were particularly influencial across a range of obesogenic food habits. Understanding these relationships provides much needed focus for public health approaches to obesity prevention in children.
