This thesis contributes a posthumanist study to the research literatures of migration and education, feminist migration studies, and family photography. It expands understandings about the movements, spatiotemporalities and affects involved in making the lives of migrant mothers, their student families and photograph collections, and contributes to post- methodology and ethics.
