Fatherhood Desire: Associations with Paternal Mental Health and Father-Child Bonding

This thesis examined the mental health and parent-infant bonds of fathers who had unintended children. Combining analyses of past literature, lived experiences, and longitudinal data from an Australian cohort, evidence emerged for higher risk of poor father-infant bonding and increased symptoms of depression, anxiety, anger and alcohol consumption.<p></p>
