Firms' Response to Stronger Trade Secret Protection

This study focused on the effects of stringent legal protection to firms’ trade secrets on executives' incentives, trade credit supply, and the economic value of innovations. The study used recognition of the Inevitable Disclosure Doctrine (IDD) by various US states as an event that strengthens firms’ legal protection of trade secrets.
