Function of STAT5 Protein During Development and Disease

This study utilized Stat5.1 and Stat5.2 Loss-of-function Zebrafish mutants to investigate the role of Stat5.1 and Stat5.2 in growth, adiposity, hematopoiesis, and immunity based on the known functions of mammalian STAT5 proteins. Findings from this study established zebrafish Stat5 mutants as a valuable model for investigating human inherited diseases.
