This thesis investigated baseline oxidative stress and histological condition in deep-sea decapods from the Great Australian Bight, and the impact of crude oil on molecular mechanisms in greentail prawns. The findings will inform biomonitoring programs in the event of commercial oil and gas operations in the Great Australian Bight.
