Hybrid mathematical modelling and optimisation for reaction mechanisms of thermal stabilisation in carbon fibre production line

thesis
posted on 2017-06-01, 00:00 authored by K Badii
The aim of this study is to develop a hybrid mathematical model to investigate the chemical reaction mechanisms of PAN (polyacrylonitrile) thermal oxidative stabilisation process in carbon fibre production line. The model can estimate the parameters of chemical kinetics and predict the specifications of oxidised precursor for energy optimisation purposes.
