Identification and characterisation of novel genes involved in skeletal muscle hypertrophy

Skeletal muscle is important for controlling movement and contributes to many aspects of health and wellbeing. Conversely, loss of muscle mass with advancing age contributes to the progression of many debilitating diseases. This research identified and characterised several new genes that are important in the regulation of muscle growth and development.
