Identifying the Biopsychosocial Factors that Support the Deprescribing of Long-Term Benzodiazepine Use

thesis
posted on 2023-07-28, 03:31 authored by Erin Oldenhof
The studies in this thesis aimed to improve the management of long-term benzodiazepine use, through patient-centred deprescribing. By drawing on a biopsychosocial framework, the main outcome of this thesis was a staged-based approach to deprescribing informed by the patient experience. Findings contribute to the growing demand for safe and effective deprescribing of benzodiazepines.
