This study examined collecting based art practices to answer how personal narratives and lived experience can inform the creation and perception of artwork in ways that value authenticity and draw attention to autobiographical contexts and heuristic freedom within the expectations and implications of the career choices that impact the sustainability of the artists future economically and socially.
