Impact of Nano- and Microplastics on Membrane Technology Performance

This thesis scrutinized the influence of model microplastic fibers on membrane technologies deployed in wastewater treatment plants, specifically crossflow ultrafiltration and membrane bioreactor systems. Findings indicate that these microplastics minimally affected system performances during the initial start-up phase.<p></p>
