In October 2013, "Plan Melbourne" was released by Victorian government to outline the vision for Melbourne's growth to 2050. This study investigates the effect of the proposed planning policies on pedestrian thermal comfort in one of the growing neighborhoods in Melbourne for extreme hot summer days via simulation and field measurements.
