Improving corrosion resistance of reinforced concrete utilising biomedical polymeric waste

A comprehensive experimental and analytical study was conducted on the concrete containing biomedical polymeric waste sourced from dialysis treatment. The fresh and hardened properties, transport and diffusivity, and corrosion behaviour of the concrete were investigated. The obtained results have been compared with conventional concrete. Predictive models have also been introduced.
