Improving the energy simulation of geothermal systems

thesis
posted on 2024-10-31, 05:32 authored by Daniel Eragbe Okolo
This research analysed the impact of independently computed g-functions on geothermal energy simulations using a modelling program called DesignBuilder alongside the Python toolbox pygfunction. The improved computation and modelling produced an average improvement of 10.5% in the winter, with a peak improvement of 13.5% when compared with the conventional approach.
