Improving working memory functioning in schizophrenia

The thesis examined interventions for improving working memory in schizophrenia. The results of a meta-analysis revealed that non-invasive brain stimulation was not effective in improving working memory. However, cognitive training that specifically targets working memory may influence neural activity linked to working memory processes in the brain.
