Impulsivity and smoking: Development of a smoking cessation treatment

This study developed and piloted a smoking-specific response inhibition training for smokers who wish to quit. Findings from two pilot studies suggested that it is a feasible and acceptable intervention, with preliminary results indicating that it may be effective in reducing smoking.
