This thesis developed a novel forming process for the manufacturing of automotive structural components from high-strength steels, Incremental Shape Rolling (ISR), and then explored the deformation mechanisms involved in this process. The study outcomes showed that ISR leads to a significant reduction in flange wrinkling and springback compared to conventional cold-forming processes.
