This deep-insider research uses autobiographic narrative to trace the social and technical aspects in the take-up of innovative technologies in an Australian independent senior secondary school. As a long-term case-study, it confirms that this is difficult, complex and may only partly be achieved, and that school leadership has a crucial role to play.
