Interculturality and secondary history education: a study of contemporary history pedagogy

This study reveals a distinct unfamiliarity associated with interculturality by history teachers and a significant absence of interculturality in written and visual language of the history textbook. It concludes the need for the development of sound theoretical underpinning to support interculturality for history teaching and learning within curriculum and pedagogy.
